Shantideva (AD 687-763) was a famous Indian Buddhist master who composed the Buddhist classic Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life.

SHANTIDEVA SAY:..........

FOR AS LONG AS SPACE ENDURES,

AND FOR AS LONG AS SENTIENT BEINGS REMAIN,

UNTIL THEN MAY I TOO ABIDE,

TO DISPEL THE MISERY OF THE WORLD.
